The teams make their way to the airport, and the four teams on the first flight are Leo & Alana, Michelle & Victoria, Will & James, and Riley & Maddison. Kaylynn & Haley were given a reprieve in the previous non-elimination leg, but they will have to overcome a Speed Bump to survive today’s leg. Eswar says he thought he could showcase his strengths on the race, but it has instead highlighted his weaknesses. Michelle & Victoria say they weren’t close growing up, but the race has brought them closer together. He and Maddison are certain there will be teams struggling driving stick shift. Riley lived in Europe for five years, and he says he is “fluent” in driving stick shift. Will claims to have practiced driving stick shift before the race, so he feels prepared. In addition, teams will finally get the chance to drive themselves this leg. There will be two flights from Paraguay to France, and the second flight is 15 minutes behind. Lenny/Karyn: They knew Karyn was tough to get along with so they were cast simply to add some drama to the show. Paul and Amie: They were cast as the supposedly "perfect couple/relationship." I think they wanted a really likeable older couple The motherly archetype was viewed as an advantage in reality shows because of this so I think that's why they were cast.ĭave and Margaretta: They were cast to give the cast more diversity. Pat and Brenda: At the time, there were only two Survivor seasons and one was won by Tina. Kim and Leslie: I think they were cast as kind of like "the sexy girls", they were meant to be fan favorites of many male viewers.
